Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Jude Ighalo continued his fairytale story at English club Manchester United after he scored for the 3rd consecutive Europa League match to inspire his side to a 5-0 win over LASK, reports.


The winter acquisition started his third game for the Old Trafford giants as they look to reach the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League.


The forward however needed just 28 minutes to put the visitors ahead when he produced a moment of brilliance after receiving a lofted pass from Bruno Fernandez as he set himself up with three keepy-up touches before powering the ball goalwards as it landed into the net for 1-0.


The Nigerian was at it again in the second period as he set Daniel James up with a forward-moving pass from midfield with the Welsh man firing him to end his 32 games without a goal and put Manchester United 2-0.


Ighalo then had the chance to make it 3-0 five minutes afterward but his effort struck the bar with Juan Mata then converting from a Fred assist eight minutes later to all but seal the game for United.


The former Watford man then made way for Mason Greenwood with the young star making it 4-0 in added time with another substitute, Andres Pereira also scoring deep into added time to seal a big 5-0 win for the Red Devils.


The 2019 AFCON golden boot winner was deservedly named man of the match for the third time this season after earning a rating of 8.5, completing 5 of his 7 dribbles, completing 100% of his passes and also winning 7 of his duels.
