It was a sweet day in the office for Nigerian duo of Anthony Ujah and Sulieman Abdullahi as they finished the season in impressive fashion after they both found the net for Union Berlin in their 3-0 win over now relegated Fortuna Dusseldorf, reports.


Having been guaranteed of their Bundesliga status, the hosts gave Ujah the mantle to lead the line whilst young striker Abdullahi was again named among the substitutes.


The 29-year-old however needed 26 minutes to break the deadlock as he bundled home from a Joshua Mees short to give his side a 1-0 lead.


The forward then turned provider nine minutes after the break when he set up Christian Genter to double his side’s lead as he was then substituted to a huge cheer from the bench moments later with Abdullahi taking his place.


The 23-year-old substitute then saved his best for last when he grabbed his first Bundesliga goal on the dot of 90 minutes to seal a 3-0 win.


Ujah was then named man of the match with a rating of 8.7, scoring one and assisting another while Abdullahi also finished with a rating of 7.5.
