Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi once again produced a near perfect display in the colours of CD Santa Clara as he grabbed and assist to propel them to a 3-0 win over CD Aves on match day 32 of the Portuguese League, reports.

The 23-year-old started his 19th League game of the campaign with the hosts hoping to turnaround their abysmal form which has seen them lose all three of their last league games.

They however needed 21 minutes to go into the lead when Diogo Salomao set up Ze Manuel with the winger making no mistake to fire home for 1-0.

Sanusi then got into the act seven minutes later as he produced a lovely run on the left flank to beat three markers before sending a delightful cross into the box for Crysan to convert and make it 2-0 for Santa Clara.

Substitute Carlos da Silva Junior then completed the scoring when he fired home on the 74th minute to make it 3-0 with Sanusi making way for the final eight minutes of the encounter when he was replaced by Joao Lucas.

The former Gil Vicente defender was then adjudged man of the match after earning a rating of 7.7, making 4 interceptions and 2 tackles, winning 6 of his duels, making 2 key passes and also completing 68% of his passes.
