Nigerian duo of David Okereke and Emmanuel Dennis were in top form for Club Brugge as they both contributed to their 4-1 win at home to Waasland-Beveren to move up to 3rd on the log, reports.

Despite speculations linking him with a move away from the club star man Emmanuel Dennis was again in the starting XI as he partnered his fellow countryman David Okereke in what was a balanced 4-4-2 formation for the host.

Dennis however wasted no time to get into the thick of the action as he gave his side an early advantage on 16 minute after he was brought down in the penalty area.

Capitan Hans Vanaken made a morning mistake as he converted for 1-0 before the visitors leveled on the half-hour mark via the boots of Daan Heymans to make it 1-1.

Vanaken then restored his Club Brugge lead four minute before the break before Okereke opened his account for the season five minutes into the second half to make it 3-1.

Both Nigerians were substituted with 20 minutes left to play with the points all but secured as second-half substitutes Micheal Krmencik added the icing to the game with a fourth goal in the 84th minute to seal a 4-1 win.

The victory now takes the defending champions to 4th with 9 points, three points behind early leaders Charleroi who have played a game less.
