Nigerian international, Sadiq Umar continued his impressive start to the season with FK Partizan as he scored his 5th league goal of the campaign to help them seal a comfortable 3-0 win at home to FK Rad Beograd, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former AS Roma striker leads the line for the host who were hoping to bounce back after suffering a shock 3-2 loss away at FK Vojvodina just before the international break.
They however took the lead on the half-hour mark when Lazar Stojsavljevic put through his own goal to give Partizan a 1-0 lead before the visitors were then reduced to 10 men two minutes into the second half.
With a man advantage on the pitch, the host doubled their lead on 50 minutes via the boots of Filip Stevanovic with Sadiq Umar sealing the victory when he scored from 12 yards 10 minutes from time to complete a 3-0 win.
The win now takes Partizan to 3rd on the log with 15 points with Sadiq now taking his league tally to 5 goals from 7 league outings.
