Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu signed off to the international break with style as he scored a beauty to help Bordeaux earn their second league win of the campaign following a 3-0 win over Dijon, reports.

Without a win in their last three games, the host were eager to turn their fortunes around as head coach Jean Louis Gasset handed a starting XI to the Eagles duo of Samuel Kalu and Josh Maja with both players hoping to repay the coach trust in them.

The host however wasted no time to take the lead when Remi Oudin put them 1-0 upon 11 minutes before Kalu doubles his side’s lead with a moment of pure magic at the half-hour mark with the Nigerian skipping past three markers before curling the ball beyond the goalkeeper for 2-0.

Midfielder Toma Basic then ensured the points were fully safe as he added a third just before the 90th minute mark with Bordeaux wrapping up a 3-0 win which sees them move up to 9th on the log with 9 points from 6 games.

Kalu once again stood out for the host, taking his league tally to 2, earning a rating of 7.2, completing 86% of his passes, completing 4 dribbles, winning 6 duels, and also making 2 key tackles.
