Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has declared the squad is fit and ready for Friday night’s game against Algeria, reports.

The former Chelsea defender, who will be looking to earn his 51st senior cap on the night, further cleared the air on news that had earlier circulated that four players had tested positive to Covid-19.

“Big game tomorrow against Algeria…coronavirus tests done and results are not out yet but everyone in the team is strong. Please disregard every fake news. We dont have our results yet so there are no positives in the camp,” Omeruo posted.

The player’s post however supports the earlier post by the NFF that Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr was quoted out of context during his prematch briefing as they continue to await the results of the test carried out on the players.
