Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has said he’s settling down well at a new club in the Turkish capital, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 24-year-old joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal from Stoke City and he’s already having plenty of positives from the City as he hopes to get familiar with the Galatasaray fans as the season unfolds.
“I am getting better step by step. It’s not easy coming to a new team. I feel that my adaptation process is getting better every day. I think it will be even better,” Etebo told the club’s website.
The Nigerian has had a decent start to life with the former Turkish Champions, picking up a man of the match award on his first start, with statistics showing that the midfielder could go on to be a key signing for Fathi Terim.
With a combined time of 128 minutes of game time in the Super Lig, the Eagles midfielder has completed an average of 91% passes, won 71% of his duels whilst also completing 100% of his take-ons so far.
The former Getafe of Spain midfielder was however missing in action for Nigeria in last Friday’s international friendly as his absence was felt in their 1-0 loss to African champions, Algeria in Austria.
