Former U-17 striker, Olakunle Olusegun has set his sights on becoming the top scorer in the Danish 1st Division after a blistering start to his professional career, reports.

The 18-year-old announced himself to the world in spectacular fashion, netting a hat- trick less than 24 hours after his unveiling before following it up with a brace on his league debut for Fremad Amager.

Speaking to, Olakunle who has however fired blanks in subsequent games remains confident that he can still achieve his season’s objectives among which he claimed the golden boot.

“My target is to be crowned top scorer in the league because I was told that if I score 15 goals and above I would be given a huge bonus for the goals.

“The bonus serves as a motivation for me to do well this season but the team’s goal remains the ultimate, so for me, I will try to win with the team and also want to win as an individual,” Olakunle posited.

With just 6 league games this campaign, the fast-rising star has been involved in 4 goals already, with his fine form helping his team stay 3rd on the log with 12 points as they hope to push for a promotion spot.
