Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has said that his side are very much ready for their first home game of the Europa League when they welcome Dutch side PSV Eindhoven to the GSP Stadium in Nicosia, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 27-year-old was an unused substitute on match day one when they drew 1-1 away at Greek side PAOK but having featured last weekend in the league, the versatile player could now be in line to make his debut appearance in the competition.
“We will keep the team spirit and continue working. Europa League home game on Thursday,” Abdullahi posted.
The former Kano Pillars defender joined the Cyprus club last September from Turkish side Bursaspor and has already featured in two league games since his arrival as Omonia currently occupy 4th position in the league with 15 points after 7 games.
