Nigerian youngster, Paul Omo Mukairu had a dream start to life in Belgium as he came off the bench to net the winner for RSC Anderlecht in their 1-0 win at home to Royal Antwerp, reports.

A loan signing from Turkish side Antalyaspor, the 20-year-old was named on the bench by head coach Vincent Kompany who was desperate to lead his side to their 5th win of the campaign.

But despite a dominant first 45 minutes from the hosts, both teams failed to find the breakthrough as they went into the break level at 1-1.

Mukairu was then introduced just after the hour mark for Mustapha Bundu as the host went all out in search of a winner which will see them leapfrog Antwerp on the log standings.

The substitution did prove to be a masterpiece move when the Nigerian scored 14 minutes from time following an assist from Albert Sambi Lokonga to seal all three points for Anderlecht.
