Newly acquired Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi striker, Edwin Kingsley Chinonso has expressed joy over the rate at which he has settled in at the Nigeria Professional Football League side, reports.
In an exclusive chat with the nation’s foremost online football medium in Sunday, the energetic goal poacher stated that he had no challenge settling down at his new club, adding that both fans, teammates and handlers at the club have been extremely wonderful.
“I’m glad with the way I’m settling down here,” said Chinonso, who has played an integral role to his side’s pre season games so far.
“I never thought it would be so easy, but the fans here have been wonderful; they make me feel at home.
“Both the handlers of the team and my teammates have made it easy for, it’s a wonderful family we have here,” he added.
The Yankari Travellers struggled in the top flight last season before the emergence of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown of sporting activities, but the Enugu State born player insists that with the support they’re getting from the state Government and with the array of stars on ground, the team is ready to start breaking new grounds.
“We have all the support we need right now, as the Government is doing all within it’s power to ensure the team is not in want.
“With the calibre of quality players on ground, I’m sure the team will challenge for honours, come next season,” concluded Chinonso.
