Nigerian forward, Jordan Attah Kadiri is excited after netting his first league goal for new club Lommel United following their 3-1 win over Club Brugge Reserves on Sunday,

Having joined the club following from the City Group of company, the former Ostersunds FK striker struggled to replicate the form which made them lure him to Belgium, enduring a difficult start to life with the club.

The striker however returned to the starting XI for the clash on Sunday and deservedly repaid the coach’s faith in him when he headed home the opener just after the half-hour mark.

Despite the visitors pulling level via the spot before the half time break, the hosts scored twice in the second half to secure a 3-1 win and move up to 3rd on the log.

An excited Kadiri, who was happy to end his 7 games scoreless run, however, told that he remains grateful to God and now hopes to build on the goal and fire his side into promotion.

“All thanks to God for the goal; it has been a tough start to me but I’m happy to finally score my first goal for the club.

“The goal remains the same for me: continue to do well every week and hopefully I can score more goals from now that will help us achieve our season ambitions,” Kadiri concluded.
