Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye further continued to prove his critics wrong with another impressive display in the colours of Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam as he kept a second successive clean sheet to help them to a one-sided 6-0 thrashing of visitors ADO Den Haag, reports.

Fresh from getting his maiden Super Eagles clean sheet, the 21-year-old kept his place in goal for the second successive league game with the hosts hoping to make it back to back wins for the first time this campaign.

Despite dominating the first half they had to wait till the closing stages of the half to finally get their breakthrough when Lennart Thy pounced on an assist from Dirk Abels to make it 1-0.

Sven Mijnans then doubled Rotterdam’s lead after the break before two quickfire goals from Abdou Harroui and another from Lennart Thy put the host 4-0 home inside the opening hour.

Second-half substitute Mario Engels then ensured the thrashing was completed as he scored a late brace to seal an impressive 6-0 win.

Okoye who now appears to be sealing the number one spot ended with a game rating of 7.2, making 2 saves and also completing 81% of his passes.

Elsewhere, at the Grolsch Veste Stadium in Enschede, Eagles right-back Tyronne Ebuehi was in brilliant form for home side FC Twente as they played out a 1-1 draw to PSV Eindhoven.

Donyell Malen put the visitors ahead after just 8 minute before a second-half penalty from Danilo ensured both teams had a share of the points.

Ebuehi, who featured for the entire match duration, had a game rating of 7.5, made 5 clearances, 2 tackles, won 5 duels, and also completed 100% of his take-ons.
