Former MFM striker, Sikiru Olatunbosun was the match saviour for the second consecutive game for Menemen Spor, helping them to a 1-1 draw away at Samsunspor to stretch their unbeaten league run to 4 games, reports.

Having helped them to a 1-1 draw at home to Banianspor three days earlier, the former Plateau United man started his 10th league match of the campaign with the visitors hoping to close the gap on leaders Ankara.

It however took the Nigerian five minutes to open scoring when he wriggled past his marker to slot home his third goal of the campaign and put the visitors 1-0 up.

The hosts did reply almost immediately when Nadir Ciftci made the most of an assist from Guido Kocer to make it 1-1 eight minutes later.

Both sides then failed to replicate their opening minutes first power as the rest of the game failed to produce a goal as they shared a point each on the night.

Earning a game rating of 7.0, Olatunbosun has now scored 3 goals and assisted one in his last 6 games with his side now up to 5th on the log as the chase for promotion to the top flight continues.
