Nigerian international, Umar Sadiq continued his impressive form in front of goal as he popped up with the match decider for the second time in less than 4 days to help promotion chasers, Almeria, to a 1-0 win at home to Real Zaragoza, reports.

Having scored the winner away at Alcoron on Sunday, the Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medalist led the line for the 11th time this campaign.

But despite a dominating first 45 minutes in terms of possession, the visitors looked the better side in attack as they fashioned more clear cut chances but failed to take them as they both went into the break goalless.

The 23-year-old however broke the deadlock just on the hour mark as he first won the ball in midfield before receiving the ball in a one on one situation with the goalkeeper but despite initially appearing to lose his balance, Umar kept his cool to chip over the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

That lone strike did go on to be the match decider as Almeria earned their 11th win of the campaign to move within just 3 points of leaders Mallorca after 17 rounds of matches.

Umar, who was on for the entire match duration, finished with a rating of 7.1 and takes his league tally to 5 with one assist.
