Former NPFL goal king, Anthony Okpotu grabbed his first assist for new club Qatar SC as they defeated Al Khor 3-0 at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadiumtk earn their 4th win of the season, reports.

Having joined the club from Tunisian side US Monastir after a superlative 2019/2020 season, the 26-year-old led the line for the hosts who were hoping to make 3 league wins on the bounce.

The Nigerian forward needed just twenty minutes to put his side ahead as he dazzled in the flanks before sending an inch-perfect delivery into the box which fell kindly to Hamid Ismail who tucked home for 1-0.

Algerian midfielder Youssef Belaili then produced a moment of pure magic as he doubled the host lead with a ferocious strike from outside the box before the midfielder then failed to complete his brace as he missed from the spot.

The midfielder was however not to be denied in the second period as he scored his second of the game 18 minutes from time to seal a comfortable 3-0 win which moves Qatar SC to 5th on the log with 12 points from 8 games.
