Nigerian forward, Babajide David Akintola scored his second goal of the season for Turkish club Hatayspor as they defeated BB Erzurumspor 3-0 at the Hatay Atatürk to end a run of three consecutive games without a win, reports.

The on-loan FC Midtjylland forward started his 5th game of the campaign, hoping to end a personal run of 3 games without a goal or assist for the hosts.

Hataypor however had to be patient to find the breakthrough and it came via the boots of former Manchester United midfielder Mame Biram Diouf who put them 1-0 up going into the half time break.

Osman Çelik then put through his own goal two minutes after the restart to double Hatayspor lead before Akintola made it 3-0 just before the hour mark when he finished off a pass from Biram Diouf to seal all three points.

The 24-year-old, who was replaced after 71 minutes, finished with a rating of 6.9, completing 67% of his passes, winning 3 duels, and also completing 2 of his 3 dribbles.
