Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala continued her impressive run in the Premiera Division Feminina of Spain, scoring twice on Tuesday afternoon to maintain Barcelona’s 100% start to the season as they trashed Deportivo Abanca 6-1, reports.

The four-time African footballer of the year has been in superb form of late and made a return to the starting XI after coming off the bench to score in last weekend’s 6-0 thrashing of Sevilla to extend her team’s record to a perfect 9 wins from 9.

Spanish forward Jennifer Hermoso opened scoring for Barcelona on 20 minutes before she then doubled her side’s lead five minutes later.

Oshoala then made it 3-0 with a fine header two minutes later before Spanish midfielder Aintana Bonmati made it 4-0 going into the half time break.

Oshoala then completed her brace five minutes after the restart to make it 5-0 but the hosts pulled one back via the boot of Mariano Samchez before substitute Marta Torrejon wrapped up the victory 12 minutes from time to seal a 6-1 win.

The win further solidifies Barcelona’s lead at the top of the table as they maintain their 100% record after 10 games, two points ahead of second-place Real Madrid who have played 3 games more.
