Nigerian striker Terem Moffi ended a run of nine games without scoring to lead a comeback for Lorient as they grabbed a valuable point away at OGC Nice on matchday 17 of the French Ligue 1, reports.

Having started from the bench in their weekend loss at home to Stade Rennais, the 21-year-old returned to the starting XI for only the 7th time this campaign with the visitors hoping to end the year on a high having suffered back to back losses.

However, it was the host who struck first blood when former Arsenal man Jeff Reine- Adelaide set up Jordan Lotomba before the French midfielder doubles his side lead just after the half hour mark to make it 2-0.

Moffi then made the most of a defensive mix-up to pull one back for the visitors four minutes after the break before Adrian Grbic equalised from 12 yards eight minutes from time to seal a point for the visitors who end the year just above the automatic relegation spot.

Moffi who was on for 63 minutes, had a game rating of 7.7, made 2 key passes, completed 100% of his take ons and passes whilst also creating one big chance.
