Nigerian striker, Anthony Okpotu took his goals tally to three for the season as he scored for the second consecutive league match to help Qatar SC to a comfortable 4-1 win away at Al-Ahli Doha, AOIFootball.com reports.
With two goals and one assist in his last two league outings, the former NPFL goal king expectedly led the line for the visitors who were hoping to make it five successive wins on the bounce.
The 26-year-old however needed just 10 minutes to open scoring heading home a Nasir Baksh header to put the visitors 1-0 up with the host then going on to equalize just before half time when Nabil El Zhar converted from 12 yards.
Youssef Belaili then restored Qatar SC lead three minutes after the break when he also scored from the spot before the Algerian was handed another penalty this time after Okpotu was brought down in the box on 68 minute.
Belaili stepped up and converted for 3-1 before completing a hat-trick of penalties in the 89th minute to seal a 4-1 win for the visitors who now move up to 5th on the log with 18 points from 10 games.
