Nigerian forward, Paul Omo Mukairu ended his seven-game wait without a goal to score for Anderlecht in their 2-0 win over visiting Beerschot V.A to finish 2020 on a high, reports.

The 20-year-old striker, who is currently on loan from Turkish side Antalyaspor, started up front alongside other Nigerians Lukas Nmecha and Blessing Eleke who was on the bench.

After a cagey opening half-hour, the hosts took the lead from the spot as Manchester City loanee Lukas Nmecha stepped up to put Anderlecht 1-0 up.

Mukairu then completed the win when he tucked home 19 minutes from time to seal all three points and move Anderlecht up to 4th on the log with 32 points from 19 games.
