Brendan Rodgers is hopeful that neither Wilfred Ndidi nor Jonny Evans suffered serious injuries in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw with Everton, AOIFootball.com reports.
Ndidi had to be taken off for Papy Mendy just before half-time after receiving treatment on his hamstring, and then Jonny Evans was withdrawn in the second half, heading straight to the physios when he was replaced by Caglar Soyuncu.
Rodgers revealed in his post-match press conference that Evans’ problem was blurred vision, the City manager adding that he does not believe either issue to be severe.
“It’s just tightened up,” Rodgers said on Ndidi’s hamstring. “He doesn’t think he’s overstretched or tore it. We’ll just have to assess that. We couldn’t risk it.
