Super Eagles winger, Henry Onyekuru made it back to back goals for Turkish League giants Galatasaray as they piled more misery on Azubuike Okechukwu and Basaksehir following a 3-0 thumping on Tuesday evening, reports.

After an amazing debut last timeout when he came off the bench to grab a brace, the Monaco loanee started his first game for the league chasers alongside Oghenekaro Etebo whilst Azubuike Okechukwu was also named in the starting XI for the visitors.

The visitors however started the brighter of the two teams as they made the most of their little possession and came close to opening scores but some smart saves from Fernando Muslera ensured they remained goalless.

With half time almost certain to end scoreless, the impressive Onyekuru opened the scoring in an exceptional fashion as he headed home a Ryan Donk header to give the host a 1-0 lead at the break.

Clearly not happy with his team’s first-half display despite the lead, head coach Fatih Terim made two changes with Oghenekaro Etebo making way for Mostafa Mohammed.

The substitute will go on to inspire the hosts further with Belhanda setting up Ryan Donk to make it 2-0 after the half-hour mark before a late penalty from Mostafa Mohammed sealed all three points as Gala closed the gap on leaders Fenerbahce to just 3 points.
