Super Eagles duo of Ola Aina and Josh Maja were at their best for relegation strugglers Fulham as they earned their first league win since November 2020, reports.

Having joined on the last day of the winter transfer window from French club Bordeaux, Maja started his first game for West London outfit with Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Tosin Adarabioyo all starting for the visitors with Alex Iwobi named on the bench for Everton.

In a new changed 4-4-2 formation, Fulham was by far the better side in the first half with the duo of Lookman and Aina a constant threat on the flanks.

Fulham were then rewarded for their consistency with a goal made in Nigeria as Aina picked up the ball from his half before finding Lookman who returned the ball back to Aina before the former Torino man squared for Maja who fired home for 1-0.

Naha then made it 2-0 after the hour mark when he tapped home from less than ten yards after Bobby Ried’s fierce strike hit the bar before falling kindly to the former Sunderland man.

Maja was then replaced afterwards but his goals were enough to help the Scott Parker side claim their first league win since their away win at Leicester City in November and ending a run of 13 games without a win.
