Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon set the ball rolling for FC Nantes when he scored in their huge away win at Angers, reports.

Without a league win since November 2020, the pressure was already mounting on new coach Antoine Kimbouare who started his reign with a shock 4-2 home cup loss after replacing Raymond Domenech who was relieved of his duties after just 8 games in charge.

The Eagles winger however made an electrifying start to the contest when he broke free with an assist from Ludovic Blas to fire home for 1-0.

Imran Louza then put the visitors in dreamland when he scored there minutes later from the spot to make it 2-0 but the host reduced the deficit with a penalty of their own after the half-hour mark with Thomas Mangani stepping up to convert for 1-2.

Simon then made way for Abdoul Kader Bamba on the hour mark with the French midfielder sealing the win four minutes from time to hand Nantes their 4th win of the campaign.

Simon finished with a game rating of 7.2, completing 78% of his passes, winning 2 duels, and also making one key pass in the game.
