Super Eagles winger, Henry Onyekuru continued his fine start to life at Galatasaray as he came off the bench in the second half to earn them a penalty in their 2-1 win at home to Kasimpasa, AOIFootball.com reports.

Fresh from their shock Cup exit in the hands of Alanyaspor midweek, Onyekuru dropped to the bench whilst fellow countryman Oghenekaro Etebo returned to the starting XI.

Needing a strong response in their quest to push for the title, the hosts took the lead after just nine minutes through Turkish midfielder Muhammed Kerem, a lead they held going into the break.

The visitors did however go on to equalize via the boots of Isaac Kiese in the 51st minute with Terim turning to his bench as he made 4 changes after the 70th-hour mark with Onyekuru among those introduced.

The Eagles winger went on to ensure his side picked all three points when he was fouled in the box just one minute from the time before he then cleaned up the spot for Mostafa Mohamed who fired home to make it 2-1 and seal all three points for Galatasaray.

Elsewhere, it was also a good outing for on-loan Galatasaray player, Jesse Sekidika who scored his first goal to help seal a comfortable win for Konyaspor in their 2-0 win over Denizlispor.

Abdulkerim Bardacki put the hosts ahead shortly into the second half before Jesse completed the scoring 10 minutes from time to hand them all the points and moving them up to 13th on the log.
