Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has hailed Leganes’ 3-1 win over the weekend against Albacete Balompie to stay on course for promotion, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 27-year-old started his 13th league game of the campaign with Leganes hoping to build on their impressive 2-0 away win at Girona on match day 24 of the Spanish Segunda Division.
Ruben Pardo put the hosts ahead after just 18 minutes before Robert Ibanez made it 2-0 five minutes later to give Leganes a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.
Alvaro Jimenez then pulled one goal back for the visitors to make it 2-1 but substitute Sabin Merino wrapped up the crucial win when he scored nine minutes from to seal a 3-1 win and move Leganes to 4th in the standings.

The former Chelsea man had a game rating of 7.3, made 8 clearances, 3 interceptions, won 8 duels, and also completed 91% of his passes.
