Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo produced a man-of-the-match performance as he scored once and assisted another to help Glasgow Rangers to a 4-1 home win over Dundee United with Leon Balogun also among the assist, AOIFootball.com reports.
Still smarting from their impressive Europa League win away in Belgium, Aribo, who was on target in that clash, kept his place in the starting XI whilst Balogun was also handed a start.
In what was a dominant opening exchange, the hosts were forced into an early substitution when Ryan Jack went off injured before Aribo provided the assist for the opener on 35 minutes when his goal-bound shot was turned hike by Ianis Hagi.
Just like Aribo, compatriot Leon Balogun then made it 2-0 for the host three minutes later when he set up Ryan Kent with the strikers shot taking a deflection before going past the goalkeeper.
The impressive Aribo then made it 3-0 minutes into the second half as he struck a bullet of a shot with his left foot before Morales ensured the result was in no doubt as he made it 4-0 after the hour mark.
Borna Barisic then missed for 12 yards for the host with Marc McNulty pulling one back for the visitors as the game ended 4-1 to Rangers, who stretched their unbeaten lead for the season to an impressive 30 league games.
Aribo was rightfully named the man of the match with a rating of 8.2, completing 80% of his passes, winning 11 duels, making 4 key tackles, and also one key interception.
