Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu continued his incredible form in front of goal as he scored for the second consecutive league match to help KRC Genk to a comfortable 2-0 win over bottom side Cercle Brugge, reports.

Having grabbed double assists in their cup game against KV Mechelen, striker Cyril Dessers had to make do with a place on the bench with league top scorer Onuachu returning to take his place as the host hoped to make it back-to-back league wins for the first time since December.

They however got off to a perfect start when Onuachu and Theo Bongonda combined for the first goal, with the Nigerian heading home for his 25th league goal of the campaign.

Japanese forward Junya Ito then made it 2-0 halfway into the first period with the hosts coasting to a comfortable half-time lead.

Dessers then replaced the impressive Onuachu after the hour mark but the forward failed to add to his 4 league goals as Genk held on to a 2-0 win.
