Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye made it back-to-back clean sheets for Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam as he inspired them to an impressive 2-0 home win against RKC Waalwijk, reports.

With six clean sheets already in his kitty and just three shy in the race for the golden glove, the Super Eagles number one started his 20th consecutive league match as Rotterdam eyed back-back wins for the first time since December of 2020.

Second-half strikes from Tom Beugelsdijk and Bryan Smeets in the closing stages was all the host needed to seal all three points and move up to 30 points seven points behind 7th place Utrecht with the qualification playoffs still within reach.

Okoye who ended the game with a rating of 6.8, is now just two shy in the race for the golden glove with the 21–year-old now sparking a possible transfer tussle in the summer with giants Ajax rumored to be interested in the Nigerian.
