Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu completed an incredible 7 days scoring spree for both club and country after he scored what proved to be the winner for KRC Genk, in their hard-fought 3-2 win away at Oud-Heverlee Leuven, reports.

Having played a big part during the international break with Nigeria and scoring in back-to-back games, the lanky striker led the line for the Blue Army as they looked to stretch their unbeaten run to 6 games.

Belgian forward, Theo Bongonda wasted no time in giving the visitors the lead when he set up Kristian Thorstvedt after just 7 minutes to put Genk 1-0 up, a lead they held going into the break.

Xavier Mercier however equalized for the hosts on 74 minutes before Bongonda then benefited from Kristian to make it 2-1 with Onuachu then making the points look safe when he made it 3-1 moments later in what was his 30th goal for club and country this campaign.

Thomas Henry then set up a tense finale when he scored deep into stoppage time to make it 3-2 but the visitors held on for all three points and close in on second place Royal Antwerp.

Onuachu has now scored 26 league goals this campaign, above the likes of Harry Kane, Mohammed Salah, Karim Benzema and Luis Suarez in the race for the European Golden boot.
