Nigerian international, Kayode Olanrewajucame off the bench to inspire Turkish side, Sivasspor to a 3-2 win away at Gençlerbirligi, reports.

Having found the net in their 3-1 win at home to Konyaspor last time out, the former Manchester City player was on the bench for the trip to Ankara as the hosts fell behind on 25 minutes courtesy of a Diego Angelo strike.

Swedish defender Mathias Johnson then headed the host 2-0 up after the half-hour mark with the visitors having plenty to do to claw their way back into the encounter.

Sivasspor turned to the bench at the break with a triple substitution with Olanrewaju also introduced in the process.

The changes did go on to prove vital as Jorge Felix reduced the deficit on 78 minutes to make it 2-1 before Kayode drew them to level 5 minutes later to make it 2-2 with Pierre-Yves own goal ensuring the visitors completed the comeback to seal a 3-2 win.

The win stretches Sivasspor’s unbeaten run in the league to an impressive 12 games as they move up to 7th on the log after 33 games.
