Super Eagles striker, Simy Nwankwo continued his mesmerizing form in front of goal as he scored for the seventh consecutive league outing for relegation bound Crotone as they fell to yet another defeat at home to Udinese, reports.

On the bounce of four consecutive league losses, the host were hoping to arrest their abysmal form in the league with survival now very much out of sight having just picked up 15 points from a possible 93 points.

Their woes did however continue when Rodrigo De Paul put the visitors ahead just before the halftime break with Simy restoring parity after the hour mark as he fired home his 17th league strike from 12 yards to make it 1-1.

Rodrigo then denied Crotone their first point in 5 outings as he scored the winner six minutes later and his second of the game to complete a 2-1 win for the visitors who earned their first win over Crotone since December of 2017.

The strike however takes Simy to 4th on the scorer’s chart with 17 goals, 8 goals behind top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo who has 25 goals already this campaign.
