Nigeria Professional Football League’s Wikki Tourist have announced the signing of former Heartland FC of Owerri attacker, Eric Dufegha after both parties reached an agreement for his signature before the end of the mid-season transfer, reports.

The 28-year-old, who has since been unveiled by the Bauchi-based club, caught the eye of Head Coach Usman Abd’Allah during a training session with the club, with the former Enyimba coach keen on using the player’s experience to fire the club to a top half of the table finish.

Dufegha helped Heartland to an 11th place finish in the first stanza and will now look to even do more with Wikki as they bid to surpass their best finish in the NPFL having finished 3rd in the 2018 season.

Wikki Tourists are currently 13th on the log with 24 points from 19 games, just 6 points behind 4th place Enugu Rangers in the race for continental glory at the end of the season.
