It was a good day in the office for two former U-17 World Cup winning teammates as they both found the back of the nets for their clubs in Spain, whilst the push for promotion continues for Umar who failed to add to his 15 league goals, AOIFootball.con reports.

Samuel Chukwueze: The Eagles winger made it 3 goals in 3 games for his Villarreal side but they failed to hold on to their lead to lose 2-1 at home to Barcelona on match day 32 of the LaLiga season.

With qualification for Europe their major priority from the league, the Yellow Submarines took the lead inside 28 minutes when the ever lively Chukweze received a lovely pass from Paul Torres before he then skipped pass Oscar Minqueza and Ter Segen to fire home and give his side a shock 1-0 lead.

The lead however lasted just 90 seconds as the Catalan giants equalised via the boots of Antoine Greizman before the French forward completed the turnaround ten minutes to half time to seal a 2-1 win for Barcelona.

Chukwueze, who now turns his attention to Thursday’s Europa League clash against Arsenal, finished with a game rating of 6.9 as he was a constant threat to the Barcelona back line, making 5 key passes and completing 78% of his passes.

Dropping down to the LaLiga 2, midfielder Kelechi Nwakali continued his fine form for survival hopefuls Alcorcon as they lost 2-1 at home to Leganes who were missing the services of Kenneth Omeruo through suspension.

The 2015 U-17 winning captain scored for the 3 consecutive league games when he opened scoring for the hosts on 9 minutes from the spot before Japanese winger Gaku Shibasaki equalised just before half time and then provided the winner for Jose Manuel on the hour mark to complete a 2-1 turnaround victory for the visitors.

The result now means Alcorcon slip back into the relegation zone for another week whilst Leganes remains in firm position for the promotion playoffs.

Umar Sadiq: The 24-year-old failed to add to his 16 league goals on Saturday as his Almeria side missed the opportunity to close in on 2nd place Mallorca following a 1-1 draw away at Mirandes.

The win leaves Almeria six points adrift of automatic promotion place with 6 games to go as Umar and his team need to now find their winning mojo back, having failed to win in their last 4 outings.

Ramon Azeez: The Eagles midfielder came on in the second half to help solidify FC Cartagena’s lead as they leapfrog Alcorcon in the race for survival following their 1-0 win away at UD Logrones.

The on-loan Granda man has featured in 13 games since his arrival at the Cartagonova, starting 9 of those games.
