Super Eagles sensation, Victor Osimhen once again scored his first back-to-back league goals of the season for Napoli in their 2-0 win over Torino to brighten their Champions League chances, AOIFootball.com reports.

Having come off the bench to seal victory in their 5-2 thrashing of Lazio last week, the former Lille striker started his 11th game of the campaign with the visitors hoping to make the most of Juventus’ slip up at Fiorentina.

The Naples side deservedly took the lead after just 11 minutes when Chelsea loanee Tiemoué Bakayoko struck from outside of the box to leave goalkeeper Sirugu stranded for 1-0.

Osimhen soon doubled his side’s lead 90 seconds later when he ran the length of the pitch after dispossessing Nicolas N’koulou before firing past the helpless Sirigu to make it 2-0.

The visitors then continued to pile the pressure on their hosts but failed to convert most of their chances as they held on to move into 3rd, level on points with defending champions Juventus who have dropped outside the Champions League spot.

The goal was Osimhen’s 7th of the campaign and his 4th in his last six appearances for Napoli.
