Nigerian forward, Terem Igboffi Moffi has been rewarded with yet another team of the week placement in the French Ligue 1 following his impressive outing last weekend against Bordeaux, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 21-year-old, who was also named in the team of the week the previous matchday, followed up that performance with a sensational hat-trick as he took his tally of the season to 16 with Lorient now four points above the relegation zone.
That performance earned the uncapped Nigeria international a place in the SofaScore team of the week, as well as a place in whoscored.com U-21 team of the week for players in Europe’s top 5 league.
With a rating of 9.34, the 21-year-old scored 3 goals from just 4 shots on target, winning 3 duels and also completing 66.% of his passes.
Moffi’s form in 2021 has however been outstanding in the league, with the striker scoring 12 goals since the turn of the year with that haul only bettered by French star Kylian Mbappe who has scored 14 goals since the start of January.
