Super Eagles striker, Paul Ebere Onuachu continued his amazing form in front of goal as he took his tally for the league season to a staggering 30 goals as his KRC Genk came back from behind to defeat Royal Antwerp 3-2 in the Championship Round, reports.

Having scored 29 goals already in the regular season, the lanky striker was on course to become the first player to score 30 league goals since the 2001-2002 season.

Belgian forward Theo Bongonda put the visitors ahead off an assist for Junya Ito on 20 minutes but Onuachu and his teammates were stunned in the second period as the lead soon disappeared before the hour mark.

Maxime Le Marchand equalized for the hosts shortly before the hour mark before Mbokani set up Koji Miyoshi four minutes later to put Antwerp 2-1 up much to the disappointment of the visitors.

Onuachu then stepped up with a big goal 17 minutes from time as he beat his marker smartly before slotting past the goalkeeper for 2-2 but it was Bongonda who stole the show as he grabbed the winner and his brace of the night two minutes from time to seal all 3 points.

The goal now takes Onuachu’s tally to incredibly 34 goals for club and country this campaign, whilst he moves up the ladder to 7th with 45 points in the race for the European golden boot.
