It was yet another fantastic outing for the Nigerian duo of Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Desser as the latter came off the bench to make the headlines as he grabbed the winner for KRC Genk in their 2-1 win over RSC Anderlecht, reports.

With the league title very much within their reach with 3 games left in the Championship rounds, the visitors were hoping to improve on their earlier 1-1 draw 3 days ago with Onuachu leading the line as expected.

The red-hot forward however wasted no time in firing his side ahead after just 16 minutes when he scored his 33rd league goal of the season but the host hit back at the half-hour mark when Lukas Nmecha equalized for 1-1.

With the game almost looking like a photocopy of the first leg with both teams tied at 1-1, Onuachu made way for fellow countryman Dessers with the former Heracles Almelo hoping to add to his 5th league goal for the club.

The 26-year-old however took full advantage of the chance as he fired home the winner four minutes from time after an assist from Theo Bongonda to give Genk a 2-1 win and move them just two points behind leaders Club Brugge who have played a game less.
