Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen warmed up for the new campaign in great fashion as he showed his new manager a glimpse of his scoring prowess after scoring 4 goals in the first half of Napoli’s 12-0 humiliation of Amateur side Bassa Anaunia, reports.

New manager Luciano Spalleti handed the Nigerian a starting birth in what was his first game in charge of the Naples side since taking over from former manager Gennaro Gattuso.

Elif Elmas set the tone for an eventful evening when he opened scoring on 4 minutes before Osimhen made it 2-0 four minutes later as he dinked the ball over the goalkeeper.

Konstantinos Manolas then made it three nil on 15 minutes before Osimhen got his brace five minutes later to make it 4-0, with the Nigerian then completing his hat trick five minutes after the half-hour mark to make it 5-0.

The 22-year-old then got his fourth of the match and Napoli’s sixth two minutes later before Stanislav Lobotka then made it 7-0 on the dot of halftime.

All outfield players then left the field at halftime with the introduction of new players but Napoli kept up the momentum as they scored a further 5 goals in the second half to seal a 12-0 win.
