Nigerian midfielder, Ifeanyi Matthew continued his impressive form in the Norwegian Eliteserien as he grabbed his first goal of the season to stretch his side’s unbeaten run to 8 games, whilst there was also a goal for former Villarreal B striker Jack Ipalibo, AOIFootball.com reports.

Ifeanyi Matthew and Igho Ogbu: The duo started for visitors Lillestrom Sk as they defeated Stabeak Football 2-3 to move up to 6th on the log.

Fresh from being named in the team of the week, Ifeanyi Matthew opened the scoring for the visitors with a ferocious strike from 25-yards out which slipped between the hands and legs of the goalkeeper to hand his side the lead.

Oliver Valaker however restored parity for the host 10 minutes onto the second half before Thomas Olsen made it 2-1 to the visitors after the hour mark to put them back in the lead.

Olsen then grabbed his brace and Lillestrom’s third goal 19 minutes from time but despite the host pulling one back six minutes later, the visitors held on for a 3-2 win on the night.

Both Ifeanyi and Ogbu played for the entire match duration whilst there was a cameo appearance for Uche Sabastine who saw six minutes of normal time for the host.

Fred Friday and Jack Ipalibo: The Nigerian duo were also on the winning side with Stromsgodset as they both combined to open the scoring for the cub in their 3-0 win over Odds BK who had another Nigerian Onyekachi Hope on the bench.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, striker Friday set up his fellow countryman Jack for the opening goal before Tobias Fjeld doubled the host lead on 58th minute.

Norwegian midfielder Herman Sprengel ensured the points were safe when he scored his side third just after the hour mark to seal a 3-0 comfortable win for the host who moved above their visitors to 8th on the log.

Dropping down to the 1st Division, striker Akor Adams continued his fine form in front of goal as he was the hero for Sogndal IL in their 1-2 away win at Raufoss.

With scores leveled at 1-1, the 21-year-old converted from the spot 22 minutes from time to grab his 5th goal of the campaign and seal all three points for his side.
